ARTWORK & DESIGN
What file types do you accept?
Vector artwork such as AI, EPS, and print-ready PDF files with fonts outlined is generally preferred. High-resolution PNG, JPG and other formats may also be accepted depending on the project.
What is meant by “print ready file”?
A print ready file is typically a PDF file with the correct colorspace and correct resolution, with bleeds if necessary. The colorspace for printing, offset and digital is CMYK. The resolution for printing, digital or offset is 300 dpi. Resolution for wide format printing is 150dpi.
What are Bleeds?
Bleeds are used in the printing process to allow your image, graphics or background to bleed off the sheet. Printing presses and digital printers are not capable of printing all the way to edge of the sheet. This means, if you want it to go all the way to the edge, we have to print on a larger sheet then trim off some of the graphic. The standard bleed amount is 1/8 (.125) of an inch. The easiest way to set-up a file for bleeds is add 1/8 inch to the size of your art-board all the way around. You will also want to keep any important information at least 1/8 inch to 1/4 of an inch from the trim area. Popular design software, such as Adobe CC products, include a bleed option when setting up your document. That makes it super easy when it’s time to export and you want to include bleeds.
What if my logo isn't high resolution?
We can review your artwork and let you know whether it is suitable for production. In some cases, artwork may need to be recreated or converted to a production-ready format.
Do you provide graphic design services?
Although we do not offer full service graphic design, artwork and design assistance may be available depending on the project. Additional artwork preparation fees may apply.
Will I receive a proof before production?
Yes. A digital proof is typically provided for approval before production begins. We strongly recommend carefully reviewing spelling, colors, sizing, placement, quantities, and other details before approving your proof, as you will be ultimately responsible for
missed errors.
ORDERING, PRICING & TURNAROUND
How do I request a quote?
Contact us with the product, quantity, size, artwork, desired completion date and any special requirements. The more information you provide, the more accurately we can quote your project.
How long does production take?
Turnaround times vary by product, quantity, customization method, and current production schedules. We will provide an estimated timeline when your order is quoted or placed.
Do you offer rush service?
Rush production may be available on select products. Rush fees may apply, and availability depends on the product and production schedule.
When does production time begin?
Production typically begins after final artwork approval, order confirmation, and any required payment have been received. Changes made after approval may affect pricing and turnaround time.
Can I make changes after approving my proof?
Once a proof has been approved and production has started, changes may not be possible. If changes can be made, additional charges and production delays may apply.
